Making a 2nd blog
As part of our Bachelor of Education program, we’ve been instructed with the task of developing a professional resource. This resource is meant to aid us in the field, and should be accessible to other educators. For my resource, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to make a 2nd blog also on WordPress. I figured what could be more accessible than I website, so I created Eduresource. Eduresource is a website where educators can view inclusion strategies for the classroom. I focus primarily on students with complex needs and behavioral aspects.
Through the process of making a 2nd blog, I found the formatting techniques have come easier this time around. Understandably after practicing good blog post techniques, I believe my 2nd blog has been greatly updated in terms of appeal and quality. I experimented with different themes for the website, and settled on one that is both fashionable and functional. This website not only allows anyone free unlimited access into the information, but also has a comment section where other educators can share their thoughts and ideas, with the hope of being able to create an online forum where many educators can collaborate.
The speed at which I was able to create the 2nd blog having already gone through the process was much faster, and I’m glad I took advantage of the free software while being in the program. I plan on continuing to update my blog throughout my teaching career to save information and compile resources for myself, but also any other educator willing to bounce ideas.
